An awareness talk was conducted by Dr Priyanka Navelkar Nadkarni, Consultant General Medicine and Eldercare physician & by Dr. Komal Renuke on Hearingloss in the Elderly and their rehabilitative treatment, while also talking about the various misconceptions about hearing aids for the senior citizens association of Dreams residential complex,Bhandup. This interactive session about The need and importance of a Comprehensive Elder Care Clinic was attended by about 60 senior citizens. Various aspects of ageing and geriatric care were covered in this informative session.
