Dr. Abhishek Nighot is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in adult hip and knee reconstruction. His clinical expertise includes Hip and knee joint replacements, arthritis management of the hip and knee, and joint preservation surgeries. With a passion for restoring mobility and enhancing quality of life, Dr. Nighot combines precision techniques with individualized patient care to deliver optimal surgical outcomes for those suffering from degenerative joint conditions.
Dr. Nighot’s medical journey began in Mumbai, where he did his MBBS. He went on to receive his orthopaedic master’s degree from Sancheti Institute for Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, Pune, where his leadership and academic excellence stood out. He then went on to do senior residency at Rajawadi Hospital, Mumbai and then pursued advanced subspecialty training in adult hip and knee joint replacement in Mumbai with a fellowship certified by SICOT (Société Internationale de Chirurgie Orthopédique et de Traumatologie).
He was then selected for the prestigious Ranawat Adult Reconstruction fellowship in Hospital for Special Surgery, New York, USA. He then visited Pennsylvania Hospital, University of Pennsylvania, for a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement. He also holds a diploma in Football Medicine conferred by FIFA.
Outside of medicine, he leads an active lifestyle, and is an avid fitness enthusiast. Dr. Abhishek Nighot is currently seeing patients in Dr. L.H. Hiranandani Hospital and is a part of the Joint replacement services team with Dr. Vijay Shetty.
