Dr. Akash Dhuru is a skilled Surgical Oncologist with strong academic credentials and expertise in the management of various cancers. He completed his MBBS, MS in General Surgery and DrNB in Surgical Oncology, followed by fellowships in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS), Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery in Oncology (FALS – Oncology) and Robotic Surgery (FARIS). He has also undergone advanced training in Breast Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.
His clinical interests include :
Head & Neck, Breast and Colorectal cancers with expertise in open, minimally invasive and robotic oncological surgeries. He has expertise in the management of complex oncological cases.
An active participant in oncology and surgical conferences, he has also co-authored various publications in the field of surgical oncology. He is a member of several prestigious medical and surgical associations including IASO, ASI, IAGES, AMASI and the Indian Society of Oncology.
