Dr Shrikanth Atluri, is a consultant Uro-Oncologist and Robotic Surgeon. He is an expert in all types of Urologic cancers with special expertise in Robotic Surgery.
He received his basic undergraduate (MBBS) qualification from the premier B J G Medical College, Pune, MUHS with several distinctions.
He went on to complete his Masters in General Surgery (M.S.) from prestigious Seth G.S. Medical College and K.E.M Hospital, Mumbai where he stood second in the department. He later secured the M.Ch. in Urology from well-known Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences, Mumbai, where he underwent a comprehensive 3 years training programme in Urology and stood second in the university.
During his residency, he decided to pursue Urologic Oncology as his dream career.
At present he holds 5 years of robust dedicated exclusive training in urological malignancies from premier most institutes in India and USA. In India, he spent 2 years in esteemed Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. He has worked with stalwarts like Dr Dipen Parekh, Dr Chad Ritch and Dr Sanoj Punnen in the renowned University of Miami Hospital, Florida, USA for 3 years. Taking in best of both the worlds, he has developed a unique expertise in Robot assisted Minimally invasive surgery for urological cancers. He aces management of Urological cancers with great passion. He has exclusive experience of more than 1000 pure robotic Urooncological surgeries.
He is a member of many National & International organisations like American Urology Association(AUA), Urological Society of India (USI), Mumbai Urological Society (MUS), Association of Medical Consultants (AMC). He has a strong academic background & has been part of various research projects, since his undergraduate days He has several publications in international peer reviewed journals and presentations in international meetings and conferences.
