Experience
With 14+ years of experience in Surgical Gastroenterology, HPB Surgery, and Liver Transplantation, Dr. Prashantha has participated in over 1200 liver transplants and is a recognized expert in living donor as well as cadaveric liver transplantation.

Career Highlights

• Former Senior Consultant at Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital & Global Hospitals, Mumbai
• Established liver transplant programs at Apollo Hospitals (Hyderabad), Sahyadri Hospital (Pune), and further developed the HPB surgery & liver transplant program at Apollo Hospitals (Chennai), Global Hospitals (Mumbai) and Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital (Mumbai).
• Established liver transplant programs in multiple cities in western India, including Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nashik, Surat, and Vadodara.
• Performed the first liver transplant at Vadodara and Aurangabad.
• Established Liver clinics at multiple cities across western India in Maharashtra and Gujarat enabling patient consultation and follow up locally.
