Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital celebrated its 3rd anniversary by way
of 3 glorious events, viz
(1) Sports day on
the 18th of February 2007
(2) Talent Hunt Contest and Cake Cutting ceremony on the Day of
the Anniversary, i.e., 22nd February 2007, and
(3) Presentation on Hospital achievements on the 25th of February
2007.
Sports day event on the 18th of February 2007 was held at the Eden
Ground (opposite the Hiranandani Foundation School) from 9:00 am
to 2:00 pm, and was co-ordinated by Capt (Mrs) Valsa Thomas and
Mrs Brenda Da Costa.

Talent Hunt contest was hosted by Dr Akash Rajpal (Manager -
Medical Services) and Dr Sameer Pradhan (Full Time Consultant -
Anaesthesiology). The event kick-started with the presentation of
the Chairman’s award for the “Most Improved Employee”. The Honours
were done by the Chairman himself, and the recipients of the award
were Ms Monali Puntambekar (from Front Office) and Ms Bhagyashree
Maruti Desai (from Front Office). This award is given to employees
who have shown tremendous improvement due to their hard work and
dedication.
This was followed by cake cutting by the Chairman to mark the 3rd
anniversary of the hospital.
The event continued to present the showcase of talent by an
overwhelming participation of the hospital staff, which included
all cadres right from doctors to technicians, and the outsourced
staff. The event saw participation even from staff children and
spouses.
There were a whooping 62 performers, largest till date, and the
venue was jam packed with over enthusiastic audience.
The event was judged by Dr Bharesh Dedhia (Full Time Consultant -
Critical Care) and Dr Laxmi Kamat (Full Time Consultant -
Anaesthesiology). The winners were awarded prizes sponsored by the
Pest Control of India.

The highlight of the event was a hilarious spoof on Kaun Banega
Crorepati called as Kaun Banega Champion, conducted by Dr Akash
Rajpal (as the host Mr Amitabh Khan) and Dr Sameer Pradhan (as the
rollover contestant Muttuswami), and the even was concluded by a
completely transformed Dr Sameer Pradhan in the role of Ms Raakhi
Sawant.

The last event marking the celebrations was held on the 25th of
February, 2007 in the Olympia Tarrace from 7:00 pm onwards. The
event was a formal occasion and was attended by the entire
Hiranandani family, including the Chairman, Dr L H Hiranandani, Mr
Niranjan Hiranandani, Mr Surendra Hiranandani and Mrs Kamal
Hiranandani.
There was a presentation made by Dr Sujit Chatterjee, Chief
Executive Officer, Dr Anita Soni, Full Time Consultant -
Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Dr Sanjeev Jain, Full Time
Orthopaedic & Joint Replacement Surgeon, by way of an interactive
film depicting milestones of the hospital and way forward. The
presentation highlighted various achievements of the hospital and
the vision forward. The presentation concluded by announcing the
vision 2010, i.e., “TO BE BEST KNOWN AND BEST PAID”.
The presentation was followed by dance, dinner and cocktails.
