DNA-ID CHECK is an infant identification and parentage
confirmation system. Using state-of-the-art DNA technology, the
test is inexpensive, efficient and non-intrusive, requiring no
more than a small saliva sample from the parent(s) and infant.
When DNA mismatch occurs, the DNA-ID CHECK System can establish if
you are NOT the father. Our DNA-ID CHECK System is an inexpensive
screening test to decide you might require more extensive, legally
certifiable testing.

Who needs THE DNA-ID CHECK?
Mothers giving birth in hospitals
Baby or infant mixups occur to this day in hospitals. Did you
know that one out of every 1,000 infant transfers in hospitals is
a mistake.
Parents conceiving following infertility treatment
Third-party intervention during artificial insemination, IUI,
IVF procedures and other assisted reproductive technologies
increases the possibility of unintentional, or even intentional,
mixups.
Paternity screening test
When DNA match occurs, the DNA-ID CHECK system can establish
if you are NOT the father. Our DNA-ID CHECK system is an
inexpensive screening test to decide you might require more
extensive, legally certifiable testing.

Why they need DNA-ID CHECK?
The "banding method" of an infant identification at birth, first
introduced in 1949 and unchanged today, remains the only method
for ensuring proper infant-to-parent matching in the hospital.
Although the banding remains functional and typically reliable,
infant mixups can and do occur: as frequently as one in 1,000
births!
Also, sperm or embryo-switch can and do occur during artificial
insemination, IUI, IVF procedures and other assisted reproductive
technologies.
As you might have noticed in print and on television, recent and
often highly publicized cases of infant mixups in hospitals and
sperm-embryo confusion in fertility clinics have been very real.

Will
THE DNA-ID CHECK Violate Any Privacy Issues?
The DNA-ID CHECK System, using a special analysis for matching
parent-to-infant genetic code can only identify an individual or
prove if an adult is not the genetic parent of a particular
infant. In other words, they convey no relevant genetic
information during the testing procedure. The test reveals nothing
else about the tested individual. Confidentiality and privacy
issues are never violated.

How does THE DNA-ID CHECK deliver service at such low cost?
Home sampling and inclusion: since anyone can take the sample
anywhere, the need for hospital or laboratory time is reduced. Our
simplified cost can confirm a DNA mismatch, establishing if you
are not the parent. (Much more expensive and time-consuming tests,
admissible in court, can conclusively confirm if you are a
parent.) To our knowledge, no other laboratory or company at
present offers routine infant identification at a comparable cost.

How does THE
DNA-ID CHECK system work?
A Technical Summary
Humans have 23 pairs of chromosomes in each cell, of which half
are attributed to the mother, and half the father. Each chromosome
is comprised of coded genetic material, called deoxyribonucleic
acid, or DNA. Until now, DNA identify testing involved the so
called RFLP technique, a complex process both expensive and time
consuming. Our method is a simplified technology that requires
less DNA, and can even work with degraded DNA.
The DNA-ID CHECK system employs revolutionary PCR Technology to
amplify and compare certain portions of genetic material to
identify any parent-infant connection. For any given individual,
the genetic material is contributed from each parent, 1/2 from
mother, 1/2 from the father. Essentially, if the infant's DNA
directly match either 50% or more with the mother's or father's
DNA, or as a 50/50-composite of both the parents' genetic
material, then one can assume biological relationship. On the
other hand, if mismatch occurs, then one could assume that the
individual is not biologically related.
Three different portions of genetic material are identified and
compared in the Basic Package (90% certainty of a match). In the
DeLuxe Package, nine different portions of the genetic material
are identified and compared (99.5% certainty of match). All
that's required is a saliva sample (oral swab): The test is
therefore non-invasive, painless, and easily obtainable. The
sample itself can be transported with ease.
