Hiranandani Estate at Thane is arguably the most vibrant housing society in the city. The Hiranandani Hospital, which is located at the Hamilton building, is a Comprehensive hospital. The hospital has been operational for the last one & half years. With 24 hours round the clock services today, the centre is spread over 7,500 sq.ft. in total.

The Facilities

• 8 OPDs (with specialized rooms for Dental, Ophthalmology, ENT and Cardiology)

• 4 bed bay ward which is capable of continuous electronic monitoring thus making it into a high dependency unit (HDU) bed.

• There is a state of the art Operation Theatre that has terminal HEPA Filters, which maintains a sterile environment with in. There are 25 air exchanges in an hour. The lights and other Operation Theatre equipment matches any or even is considered better than most at Thane.

• For Ophthalmology, we have the capability of complete anterior segment work. For Cataract surgery we have the Bausch and Lomb Protégé.

• The Operation Theatre is self – contained with its own Central Sterile Services Department.(CSSD)

• We have an Ultrasound Machine (Wipro GE Logiq 3) and also a X-ray machine

• We perform Cardiac Stress tests on a cardiac stress test machine (Schiller) on a regular basis.

• Health check Ups

• We have also launched Maternity Facilities at the set up; this would essentially cover the whole range of obstetrics & Gynecology work with support services in the form of a pediatrician on call and a neonatal back up

• NICU -

1. We also have a full fledged Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to care for preterm babies and other sick newborn babies.This NICU has two beds complete with warmers and in built phototherapy unit. The NICU has state of the art medical equipment like.

2. A ventilator to support Neonates (babies) with breathing. The equipment is the latest in its generation with automatic breath adjusting capability

3. A pulse oximeter to measure the oxygen levels.

4. A multifunction monitor which can continuously monitor blood pressure, heart rate, ECG and respiratory rate

5. A centralized oxygen supply gas bank

6. A metered doses of medication can be given by infusion pumps

• HOME CARE - Nursing & Phlebotomy

Introduction to the facility:
Home-care, (commonly referred to as domiciliary care), is healthcare or supportive care provided in the patient's home by healthcare professionals. Home-care aims to make it possible for people to remain at home rather than use long-term, or institutional-based nursing care.

Hiranandani Hospital, Thane will now provide home care services for patients, who require domiciliary care. The services will cover all routine nursing procedures and laboratory sample collection.

The team will comprise of a trained nurse and a qualified laboratory technician.

Nursing Care:
Nursing care is an integral part of the health-care system. Nurses play a vital role in promoting healthy lifestyle and self-care in the community. The facility will provide highly skilled nurses.

Following procedures would be covered under the home-care facility:

Phlebotomy Services:
The hospital provides laboratory testing facility with an extremely comprehensive menu of investigations. The samples are processed using fully automated, state-of-art equipments. The laboratory system is integrated with hospital information system to minimize the human handling and improve the overall efficiency. The laboratory conducts stringent quality assurance programmes using internal quality controls and various proficiency testing programmers, thus helping in validating its quality process. 
The Home-care facility at Hiranandani Hospital, Thane would extend phlebotomy services of the laboratory to the doorsteps of the patient. To avail of the facility one requires taking a telephonic appointment by dialing 9769321195 and requisitioning the tests. The hospital staff will give necessary instructions for the blood collection.  

The facility will be available on all seven days of the week from 7 am to 7 pm. Services will initially be available for residents of Hiranandani Estate, and will gradually be extended to adjoining areas as well.
