Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
The Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery provides a wide
range of surgical services ranging from Dentoalveolar surgery to
Orthognathic surgery and the management of jaw tumours, factures
of facial bones. The
Department also handles patients with salivary gland and mucosal
diseases as well as patients with facial pain and
temporo-mandibular joint problems.
Within the Centre's multidisciplinary set up, the Department is an
active participant in the Implant and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics
Team and in the Oro-facial Deformity Management Team. The
Department collaborates closely with Oncologic surgeons in other
hospitals and is an active participant in the multi-disciplinary
management of head and neck tumours.
